Suitable Vegetables for Hydroponics
Many herbs, salads and vegetables, berries, but also edible blossoms and flowers are suitable for hydroponic cultivation. The size of the plants, whether hanging or standing, as well as the required lighting conditions must be taken into account when growing the plants and selecting the hydroponic system.
Herbs are particular suitable for hydroponics, they grow very well and you can grow many herbs in a small space. If you take into account the requirements for light, as is the case with traditional cultivation in soil, and keep an eye on the water-nutrient mixture, you can totally expect a rich harvest.
Regular pruning also promotes plant growth here. The list shows herbs that are well suited for hydroponic growing, I’m sure the list will be much longer - let me know in the comment if I miss anything!

In fact, almost all plants can be grown hydroponically, except for some big root vegetables. Fast-growing varieties such as pak choi, Asian lettuce or Swiss chard are for me super interesting because they can be harvested fast and frequently. But many other types of vegetables also deliver high yields quickly and taste excellent at the same time. The list below shows some (but not all) vegetables which can be grown hydroponically.
